A tool built around one annoying, recurring task

AffiliateZephyr's favicon generator exists because setting up a proper favicon — one that actually looks right on iOS, Android, and every browser — kept turning into a bigger task than it should be: hunting down the right sizes, converting formats, writing the HTML by hand.

So we built a tool that does it all from one upload: every standard size, a proper multi-size .ico file, and the exact HTML code to paste in — nothing uploaded to a server, everything processed right in your browser. Alongside it, we write guides on the parts of favicon setup that aren't obvious until you run into them: caching issues, Apple's specific icon requirements, why a design that looks great full-size turns into a blur at 16 pixels.

We're a small team, and this tool is actively maintained. If something doesn't generate correctly, or you need a size or format we don't cover yet, we want to hear about it.
